Thanks for putting this together. I'm trying to figure out the number of females and males elected--some of the names I'm not sure about. Any idea how I can find gender info or Sri/Smt prefixes for all 227? The Ward info on the MCGM website only has the names.. if you can help I'd appreciate it.

No BA, at first it was only the "kitna/bahut research karta hai" thought. Posts like the ones i am reading under elections strike me for sheer love (involvement) that you put into what you do. I am also wondering- pls. ignore if it is too much work-if you can kinda do one post to tie-up the issues. For instance, the fake cret with the summary of results with the how/why to vote. And I have used the word "think" 5 times in my last comments... sheesh!!

BA, I think I first came to ur blog only some months ago, and I think one of the first posts I read in passing was the low hanging fruits one (the ref to the comb is so funny in that one). After that for long I did not read any posts(not for any other reason- i think I am a I, me, myself (garfield) kinda person. Only recently again I re-visited as I mentioned for the flyovers and safety thing when I googled your blog. Since then I have tried and think have read all posts on BD and only just started on MM and about MM, truly it is fantastic- your effort, work, the dedication, the analysis and so much more. There are so many little things I find here that I feel really bad I did not read it much much earlier. Not that I'd make any difference to society. Once again, only selfish reason. It'd have made me feel better to know it is there.
